Sony Ericsson W508 -Most Hot Walkman Phone Series


The following model has been presented today at the CES is the Sony Ericsson W508, a terminal focused on playing music, because it belongs to the Walkman range. Therefore, incorporating not only dedicated keys for the task, but also other features to control the music you hear.

These include the Shake control and Gesture control, which can change the song or the volume up and down with a wrist movement or turn off the alarm by passing the hand over the phone without touching it. Also included as other SensMe TrackID or that come in all models of Walkman.


The Sony Ericsson W508 is a Clamshell-type terminal with a 2.2 inch internal display with resolution of 320 × 240 pixels and an external 1.1-inch 128 × 36 pixels resolution, the latter type OLED. It has 3G connectivity and comes with a 3.2 megapixel camera that enables video recording.

Of course, it includes the Walkman software for playback, plus support for Bluetooth A2DP profile, which allows us to listen to music in stereo without cables. It also integrates an FM transmitter with which we can hear the music through the car radio.

The autonomy of the Sony Ericsson W508 is 10 hours in conversation, up to 400 hours standby and 24 hours in music playback. Be available during the second quarter in gray and white, but come with additional housings to customize.
